How A Pennsylvania College Achieved Cutting-Edge Outdoor Wireless Connectivity
Ahead of the annual Mayfair Festival of the Arts, Cedar Crest College reached out to Turn-key Technologies, Inc. (TTI) to design and install a dependable outdoor wireless network capable of accommodating thousands of visitors.
With the support of TTI, Cedar Crest was able to roll out a complete overhaul of the campus’ wireless infrastructure by:
- Performing a site survey on Cedar Crest’s 150,000 sq. ft campus quad.
- Installing ten Aruba Networks AP-275 wireless outdoor access points (802.11ac, 1.3Gbps).
- Fortifying the network with Aruba’s ClearPass to improve security and access control.
- Completing the entire project — from start to finish — in less than two months.
